[ Sometime in the late afternoon of the 20th, server member @ sumina notifies everyone (yes, @ everyone) that there will be a guest get-together at one of the large lounges on Floor 32. No one is expected to bring anything but themselves, though those who have diligently combed through everyone's birthday codes might realize that a party happening today isn't purely coincidental...

...And if not, it becomes clear enough upon arrival! The lounge has been turned into a karaoke lounge, but that's not all - there are birthday balloons and streamers artfully placed around the room, along with a banner that reads: Happy Birthday, Yuji! and a birthday cake on one of the tables.

The karaoke machine magically knows every song from every world represented here at the hotel, so don't even worry about not having anything to sing. Even ancient hymns are included on this bad boy. Not the type to sing? Too bad. The microphone will at times simply choose someone to sing, flying into one's hand Mjolnir-style, and the only way to get it out of one's hand is to sing your little heart out. Bonus: tell us what your character sings! Maybe the machine will even give you a (RNG from 1-100) score...

For those waiting for their turn to sing, there are fun little instruments like castanets, maracas, and tambourines to play around with along with this little guy, and also fun party hats and costume pieces. Guests are also encouraged to take photos with a Polaroid camera that's going around, but for some reason, everyone's photos are coming out with strange filters over their faces?

There's also a veritable spread of Japanese food, snacks, and desserts over all the tables as well. Yes, including Pocky... There's juice and also juice (for the grown-ups) and the staff are around should anyone have any special requests.

Or rather, Gojo was already somewhat aware that Amelia and Sumina had been chatting and several glances were being floated his way. Once Amelia calls out to him, he's only too quick to zip on over, sidling up with one hand in his pocket, his other arm draping casually over Sumina's shoulder. He hasn't even had anything to drink, he's just like this, in front of god and everyone. ]

[ He has a feeling he knows what might be happening here...and so his grin is especially broad and cheeky, a cursory glance sent Sumina's way. ]

She all but shrieks when Amelia takes as wig of her drink and calls out for Gojo, but of course, no sooner does that happen is the man right there, with his arm around her. Gods help her. She has such a bad feeling about this. ]

A-Amelia could use something to snack on with her drink, is all—! What would you recommend with pear-flavored soju, Satoru?

[ Said with a very pointed look towards Amelia, and as such she is not seeing that mischievous look on Gojo's face... Even though she isn't doing anything to address the arm and shoulder situation, either. ]

[The high school teacher barely blinks as Gojo slides his arm around the innkeeper's shoulder. Amelia looks back and forth between Gojo and Sumina with narrowed eyes.

Another chug for the road and then she points at the pair almost accusingly.]

[Makes some sort of weird circular gesture with her whole arm, spilling some of her drink on the ground.]

[ Ah. All too quickly, he sees how it is, and as the realization dawns on him, a wicked, impish grin curls his lips, the kind of smile that signals danger for Sumina in particular. Gojo exchanges a glance with her first, finding endless amusement in the way that she tries to change the subject away from what he's actually been called over for, but what kind of dutiful beau would he be if he ignored her request outright?

Soju? Grooooooss. My recommendation? Dump it out and drink a pear-flavored soda instead.

[ So helpful, as always. As his attention turns back towards Amelia, he mimics a bird's wings with his hands — yes, even the one that's around Sumina. ]

[ If Amelia's accusatory look is the knockout attack, Satoru's response to whether or not they are, and I quote, twitterpated, and the kiss he presses into her hair is the killing blow.

Which is to say, Sumina is just turning very, very red, and grunts as she tips her head away from Gojo's lips, even knowing that it's a fruitless endeavor given the way he has an arm wrapped around her. Her tsundere is showing, but maybe more like deretsun, where her soft nature is contrasted by a prickliness that only arises when she's put on the spot.

So what if... she just stares off into the middle distance now until the end of time. Oh, look how much Yuji is getting to chat with the other guests... that's so nice. So very nice. Genuinely love that for him. ]
