If it was that easy, you wouldn't have tripped just now.
[ he's been trying to get the stupid thing to behave all morning! he steps aside for the staff member to clean up the spill. ]
As for the nature of the hotel, the man I spoke to made it sound like it was acting independently. But I don't know.
